Two months after its Japanese release, North American fans will finally get to experience My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising in theaters. The second feature film in the globally popular anime franchise takes the students of Class 1-A to a village on Nabu Island, where they finally get to put their hero practice into action.

The series itself revolves around a society in which people are born with special abilities, known as Quirks, that they can use for good or evil. One boy, Izuku Midoriya, was born without a Quirk but with an intense desire to become a Pro Hero. Thankfully, his idol All Might passes on his own power, which allows him to attend U.A. High School and hone his skills alongside his heroic classmates.

Despite Heroes Rising being out in other parts of the world, the details of the plot have been kept pretty well under wraps. A few fans  got a coveted early peek at the film at the premiere of the English dub on February  19, with the cast in attendance. While celebrating the film’s release, Screen Rant asked the actors to share just what part of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising they were most excited for fans to see.

Justin Briner (Midoriya): Deku and Kacchan have had a historically pretty rocky relationship, right? But they sort of cooled off after a recent fight, so now this is the first opportunity fans are going to get to sort of see them work together and cooperate. And because they have such a strong history, they’re able to cover each other. They know each other’s weaknesses and strengths, and it’s so instinctual the way they work together. I think fans are gonna go crazy when they see that.

Clifford Chapin (Bakugo): Honestly, some of my favorite moments between Midoriya and Bakugo are in Heroes Rising.

Chris Sabat (All Might): It feels good to see All Might passing on his skills. I mean, that’s the whole point of this show. But it’s also terrifying to me that he’s going away. I’m actually scared these days. I’m legitimately scared to read any more manga or to watch any more of the show, because I know at some point, he’s gonna die. And that kills me. However, as we’re starting to learn in the series, maybe fate isn’t what we think it is. So, maybe he’s gonna stick around. And he did promise Midoriya that he was gonna live. So, we’ll see.

This movie was definitely a different thing. You’ll see All Might, in this particular film, less than you might see him in other areas. But he comes in at key moments where it’s important. I’ll be honest with you, it’s kind of nice to come to this event and just relax - and not have to worry about being the guy who’s angry all the time or the hero of the show. I just get to be the dad.

David Matranga (Todoroki): Heroes Rising is a little bit in the future, so we get to sort of see them as a as a real team of Pro Heroes. They’re not fully Pro; they’re almost practicing to go Pro. But they’re on their own the whole time. I’m excited for everyone to think of these students as Pro Heroes.

Zeno Robinson (Takami): I’m most excited for fans to see Hawks. I’m curious for them to see him take flight.

Patrick Seitz (Endeavor): I’m excited for fans to see each other. So many people together at an event like this, sharing the experience and sharing the excitement, it’s like being at a mini convention. I love seeing fans excited about the movie and about the show.

Jason Liebrecht (Dabi): I’m just ready to see the fans’ reactions. Justin Cook [who plays Kirishima] has been telling me that whenever anybody has their first line of dialogue, the fans really show their support.

My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising arrives in theaters on February 26.
