Sometimes you might open up Origin’s library and notice that you don’t have your games there. There could be a number of reasons behind this and it is actually reported by many players worldwide too. So in this article, we will take a look at all of the possible causes and how to fix them.

Maybe you just downloaded an expansion pack or DLC, maybe your payment didn’t go through or maybe you don’t have an Origin Access membership. There are various reasons why you might not be seeing your games in the origin library.

Maybe you downloaded an expansion or DLC:

To check if you have the full game or just the expansion pack, open up the Origin library and check it yourself. To do so,

  • Go to your game library in the Origin client.
  • Click on the game for which you might have downloaded the expansion or DLC.
  • Click on the Expansion tab, Game packs or Extra content tab down below to verify your doubt.

If you want to show up the game in your library and play it, then you need to have the full game, not just the extension.

Check your origin access subscription:

  • Open up your web browser and go to origin.com.
  • Now log in to your account from here.
  • Click on the small avatar you see on the bottom right corner. This will open up menu options.
  • Now click on the tab for EA Account and Billing.
  • Here you will now see your EA account settings. Just click on the tab Origin Access present on the left side.
  • Here you will see details on your subscription.

Check if you have any pending payment:

It happens sometimes that your order on a game takes a while longer to process, that is the payment does not go through right away. To check if pending processing is your issue, follow the steps below.

  • Open up your web browser and go to origin.com.
  • Now log in to your account from here.
  • Click on the small avatar you see on the bottom right corner. This will open up menu options.
  • Now click on the tab for EA Account and Billing.
  • Now click on Order History.
  • Check the status of your order here. If it shows processing then wait till it is processed and then you will see your game in your library. If you don’t see your game at all here then you probably used another account while purchasing. Try using your other email account to log in and see if you find your game then.

Now if your payment did go through and it shows up as processed then you try reloading your origin library. For that go to Origin client from the Origin menu and simply click on reload. If that does not work then, you can try logging out of Origin and then logging in again. This should jog things up. You can even try uninstalling Origin once and then installing it again if both these methods fail.

Did you have the games for a while and they are gone?

If the games suddenly disappeared on you, even for that you can try the following methods.

Verify your account:

Check if you are using the correct Origin account. If you have another account, try logging in with that account and see if your games show up now.

Check your hidden games:

For some reason, you might have accidentally moved your games to the hidden games section. To check your hidden games section,

  • Go to My Game Library.
  • Click on the filter button on the top right corner.
  • Click on the option “Hidden Games ” from the drop-down menu.
  • There you will see all your games that are currently set to hidden.

Clear Cache:

Here is another thing you can try. You can try clearing out the cache data from your Origin data cache.

Redeem your code:

In case you purchased your game from somewhere other than Origin, then make sure that you redeem your Product code for the purchase in Origin. Without the authentic code, the game won’t show up.
