Yesterday at the launch event, Lenovo owned Motorola launched its first notched display smartphone in China, called Motorola P30. Along with this phone, the company also unveiled the Moto Z3 flagship smartphone and Moto E5 Plus budget range smartphone. The main selling point of the Motorola Moto Z3 flagship phone is the first 5G upgradeable. The Moto Z3 smartphone comes with 5G Moto Mod accessory. The Moto E5 Plus packed with massive battery inside the body and available at a low price.
Motorola Moto Z3
The Motorola Moto Z3 is a flagship smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla glass panels on the front as well as on the back. It comes with Splash and dust resistant features. The body dimensions of the Moto Z3 are 156.5 x 76.5 x 6.8 mm and it weighs 156 grams. The phone features a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display that supports 1080 x 2160 pixels of resolution. It offers 18:9 aspect ratio and around 402 PPI density. The Moto Z3 available in only Ceramic Black colo. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box along with the Lenovo’s ZUI 4.0 running on top.
Motorola’s flagship Moto Z3 smartphone powered by dual Quad-Core CPU under the hood. The four Kryo cores clocks at 2.35 GHz and other four Kryo cores clocks at 1.9 GHz. It packed with Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset on board. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage option along with micro SD card slot on board that supports up to 512 GB external storage. For the graphics, the company used Adreno 540 GPU for the better graphics quality when watching videos and playing games.
The Moto Z3 featured with dual camera sensors on the back side along with Dual-LED dual-tone flash and panorama. There are a 12-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.25µm pixel size, PDAF & laser AF and 12-megapixel secondary camera with B/W, PDAF & laser AF. On the front side, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls with f/2.0 aperture, 24mm lens size and 1.12µm pixel size. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone. It packed with 3,000 mAh battery inside the body along with Fast battery charging 15W charger support.
In terms of connectivity, the Moto Z3 comes with dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, magnetic connector, USB On-The-Go, FM Radio and more. It also comes with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and other sensors. At the bottom of the back pane, there is 16-pin pogo connector for connecting different kinds of Moto Mods accessories. The Moto Z3 supports 5G Moto Mod, a JBL stereo speaker, an Eye-Hasselblad camera with 10x zoom insta-share projector and a battery pack enabled with Turbo-charging.
The Motorola Moto Z3 available in Chian at 3,399 Yuan (~$578) price tag. The phone sale will go on August 16 in China.
Motorola Moto E5 Plus
The Moto E5 Plus comes with 6-inch IPS display that supports 720 x 1440 pixels of resolution and offers 18:9 aspect ratio. It offers around 77% screen to body ratio and around 268 PPI density. It powered by Octa-Core CPU on board which clocks at 1.4 GHz along with Snapdragon 430 chipset. The phone available in two RAM and ROM variants in China, one comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Both the variants come with micro SD card slot on board that supports 256 GB external storage.
In terms of camera, there is a single 12-megapixel camera on the back side of the phone. The rear camera comes with laser focus, PDAF, Electronic Image Stabilizer and dual-tone LED flash features. On the front side, there is the 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The front camera of the phone has its own LED flash. It packed with massive 5,000 mAh capacity battery under the hood which supports fast charging 18W charger. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone.
The Motorola Moto E5 Plus 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage model available in China at 1,299 Yuan (~$187) price tag. It is available in Monet Gray and Van Gogh Gold color options. The Moto E5 Plus 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage model available at 1,699 Yuan (~$245). It available in China in Monet Gray and Van Gogh Gold color options. The phone will go on sale from August 16 in the Chinese market.
