Motorola Moto G6 Plus features a 5.9-inch MAX vision IPS display that supports 2160 x 1080 pixels of resolution and offers 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen of the phone protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 from accidental scratches. The phone also comes with a Gorilla Glass on the back side of the phone. It powered by Octa-Core CPU under the hood which clocks at 2.2 GHz along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset. There is an Adreno 508 GPU for the better graphics experience.
Globally, the company launched the Moto G6 Plus in two RAM and ROM variants. The first comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage and second comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. In the Indian market, the phone available with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It has micro SD card slot on board that supports up to 256 GB external storage. The G6 Plus runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box along with some pre-installed Moto apps. Motorola mentioned that the phone will receive Android Pie update in future. The phone packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 3200 mAh capacity battery which supports Fast battery charging 15W charger.
In terms of camera, the Moto G6 Plus featured with dual camera sensors on the back side along with LED flash. There are a 12-megapixel main camera with f/1.7 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front side, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The selfie camera comes with LED flash. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the bottom of the front panel below the display. The Moto G6 Plus supports Face Unlock feature too.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE, EDR, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS NFC, USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and 3.5 mm audio jack port. It comes with accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass sensors. The Moto G6 Plus comes with nano water-resistant coating which protects the phone from water splash. In the Indian market, the phone is available in Indigo Black.
