Motorola Moto G9 Power was announced back on the 5th of November, and it is now available for purchase in selected parts of the world. It is quite a hefty phone from Motorola, but that is understandable since it has a huge 6,000 cell inside it. Now besides being a battery beast, what else do we get with the Moto G9 Power. Note that Google has recently rolled out the stable Android 11 update to Google Pixel devices.

In this article, we will give you a quick glance at all when the Moto G9 Power will get with Android 11. Nothing is confirmed as of yet and Motorola is one of the OEMs that did not push an Android 10 update timeline for the users. Moreover, it seems unlikely that Motorola will push out any details regarding the Android 11 update.

The Moto G9 Power features a 6.8-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. There is nothing fancy about this display despite the huge size. We get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, which is built on an 11 nm manufacturing process under the hood. This is an octa-core processor from Qualcomm, which features four Kryo 260 Gold cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four Kryo 260 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

We get only a single storage and RAM variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is a hybrid sim slot for storage expansion too. The phone features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Coming to the front, we see a 16MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens. Both the front and back camera systems are capable of capturing only 1080p videos.

Coming to communications, we have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS,  NFC, FM radio, and USB Type-C 2.0. Inside the Moto G9, we have a huge 6,000 mAh battery, the USP of the device. That is where the word Power comes from. This huge cell supports up to 20W fast charging. The Motorola Moto G9 power is available in two color options: Electric Violet and Metallic Sage.

Android 11 – Overview

Android 11 is the eleventh iteration of Google’s own OS (Operating System). It was released on September 8, 2020, and rolled out to their Pixel phones on day one. Android 11 for Moto G9 Power

Motorola has not said any word regarding the Android 11 update for any of the devices let along with the Moto G9 Power. In fact, as mentioned above, Motorola is one of those few OEMs that did not release an Android update roadmap for the Android 10 OS via which we can at least get a hint about when the Android 11 might hit the units. It is expected that the update will be made available for the Moto G9 Power users only the next year after the stable Android 11 update comes out for the masses.
