In addition to officially announcing its special event to be held on September 9th where two new iPhones and the long rumored wearable device is expected to debut, Apple has begun to build some sort of structure at the Flint Center for Performing Arts in Cupertino, California, as noted in our previous post. Additional images of the venue and mysterious structure have been shared by The Loop which reveal more sides to the structure as you can see above…
The Loop notes that security around the structure is “very tight” as you might expect, and the size suggests it will serve as a hands-on area for allowing event attendees to demo the new products and services to be announced at the event.
The Loop also mentions the last time Apple held an event at the Flint Center: 1998.
As readers probably know, Apple is expected to announced two new, larger display iPhones, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch, as well as its entry into the wearable market with the product so far referred to (though not by Apple) as iWatch.
