Microsoft has today shared that it will be releasing Minecraft: Education Edition for iPad to enrich classroom learning around the world next month.
Announced in a blog post, Microsoft said that students will be able to create, experiment, and document their learning with Minecraft: Education Edition on iPad. This also includes the recent Update Aquatic that was released this summer.
Microsoft notes that teachers who haven’t implemented Minecraft in their classrooms yet can get going with a tutorial and other free resources on how to leverage the education edition.
Schools that have Microsoft 365 licensing agreements already have access to Minecraft: Education Edition. Downloads for iPad will be available sometime next month.
